Like so many others, restarted after 30 years of no modelling. So I'm a novice, so much has changed.

Always loved airplanes, my granddad worked for Fokker at a nearby military base, incredible to think that as a kid (we're talking early eighties here) I was able to go to his workplace, walk across the street, and they were wiring up air intakes for F-16's there. Also, the airfield housed F-104 Starfighers, that's a sound I'll never forget.
Read a lot about the air war in both the Western and Eastern European theatre in WW2. Real interest in the Eastern front air war, have all the Bergstrom books on that one.
