Condor Legion Bf 109A

Build of one of the first 20 Bf 109s sent operationally to Spain during the Civil War in 1937. These machines had similar features to the late prototypes such as long wing-slats and a fixed 2-blade wooden propeller.
This machine, as well most other "Antons" were later upgraded to include late B production features such as the variable metal propeller and cowling vents complicating matters.
