I reached out to the company and got a reply: Kit is still in production, it's a few months away.

Gotta say though from what we have seen of the test shots it looks like a great kit if it ever releases

Oh no!
Thank for the update, I think they focused on the large scale models as this is were their money come from. I hope they would turn around on the kit though.
