Album info

Here's my Westland Wessex HAR2 converted from an old Frog HAS1 fuselage I had in a drawer in my garage

I had to scratch build the interior, undercarriage and tail rotor

I stole the main rotor from another Matchbox Wessex 🙂

I built up the nose filter from Milliput and scratch built everything you can see

Markings were part home made and part Modeldecals

I made decals for the mesh works that are such a large part of Wessex detailing. I made yellow mesh to cover the clear sections on the tail and also made black mesh "holes" so the fuselage top looked hollow inside

Anyway, here is my portrait of XT601, my favourite Wessex-so far!
