Sprue shot, It looks like a fairly simple kit to build.

Painted off the hull after priming up. It looks not too bad although I understand it is not accurate, better than looking bland. Assembled the turret as well with some little modifications on the rangefinder. 

Added some missing superstructure details, just to hide the gaping hole on that area. 

Added some details that resembles Pola's hangar, not perfect but at least it mirrors the quality of the kit.

Same, but I made it simple (and not very accurate). I just want that there is 'something' there for additional mast.

Disclaimer: The mast is not accurate as I fear I do not have the necessary skills and tools yet for replicating it. I have to take consideration for PE railing in that area later. 

Painted the deck with 50/50 Navy Blue and Flat white. Also applied the wooden deck. It does give so much better details and impression. 

Painting the forward deck with flat white and masking it for the unique Italian identification ship, or literally the whole point of building Italian WW2 ships (Which are beautiful on its own). 

Base hull structure is fully painted and cleaned up. 

 

Primed the sub-assemblies and small stuff, along with the 3D printed Italian 37mm AA. I have to say you really need a good eye, good tools, and be very careful about detaching it as the details are very-very small and almost resembles the cutting point.

Made some modifications to the anchor, I plan to try to use chains for it.

Made some gun cover for 203mm to enhance the look of it with Tamiya Epoxy Putty.

Dry fitting all weapons. 

Painted all the boats from the kit and additional lifeboat from Fivestars (It is a US Lifeboat since there are no 1/350 Italian Lifeboats). Tried to paint it in distinction of Italian Lifeboat. 

Installing all the Boats. Arrangements are adapted on how fitting all of the boat and with the existence of overlapping railing. 

Added the custom lifeboat according to the kit picture (and references from War Thunder). It certainly boosts the look of Iconic Italian Warships.

It is finally finished! I refrain to add or tinker more on the kit and just get it done before 2025 hits or any other real-life challenges comes up again.

Overall, it is actually quite quick to build (supposedly). It should be around a week of work time to get it done, alas the time and circumstances I faced are not in my favor.
