That's a great build and the finish is superb. Looks like mother nature won in the end.

I drive by a yard with several bulldozers 5 days a week and let me say, you nailed it. Great job.

To Treehugger. I mixed broken glass from a light bulb with clear nail polish.

Does that mean, you sort of, made this solid piece from bits of light bulb and nail polish?

Yes, that's exactly it. I cut a window from a sheet of plastic and poured silicone. I get the form of my window. Then I pour a mixture of small pieces of glass and nail polish into the form.

Top notch in every aspect: Idea, detailing, weathering, photography. Sehr schön!

What is the nail polish good for if you also are using silicone into the mix? (Presumably, silicon is what makes the stuff become solid.)

My guess is Alexey makes a silicone mold of the window pane and then pours glass and nail polish mixture into it to form the window.

First stage. Cut a piece of plastic repeating the shape of the window. The second stage is the silicone form of this template. The third step is to pour the mixture of glass and nail polish into the form.
