Did you airbrush on the metal color, without adding primer first?

I used Mr. Surfacer 1200 as my primer then sprayed Tamiya's AS-12 through the airbrush.

Great job on your Invader. I have decanted rattle-cans a few times with mixed results; yours looks pretty good. That aircraft commander should have gotten his maintenance Sgt to repaint those anti-glare panels! 🙂
