Rod -I just bought one of these. I was really disappointed with the headlights. Chromed plastic lenses? Boo...
I have an AMT Mustang kit with the same issue. Why didn't they mold lenses on clear sprue??

Edward Cornelio AutoreYes you are absolutely right, but hey its an old cheap model, AMT was never the sharpest tool in the shed, they used to cut corners a lot, this model sat in my stash for at least 15 years, and was never tempted to put it together for it's shortcomings, but then I watch Robocop 1 again and figured the kit could look the part, so I began putting it together without thinking much, no detailing, no scratch, just glue, putty, sanding paper, and paint, ah! and some hastily printed stickers, and voila! Robo-1.

Rod -I have a moderoid ed209, so want to do the pair 🙂 Maybe ED's foot on roof of cop car?

Edward Cornelio AutoreHey Rod! That is a great Idea! I was in the verge of doing that with my foot, stomping it on this model since this model is infuriatingly non cooperative, but doing it with an ED209? Wayyy better!
