It's all about practicing. You will get better from time to time. I still make lots of mistakes using my airbrush and I have already built quiet a few models ?‍♂️

Oh, I already learned to really go easy on the 'trigger'. Take my time.
Big problem I have at the moment is light, as in, I don't have enough on the model when brushing. Makes it hard to see when the paint starts coming in.
