I agree Ben. Overengineered and not user friendly. The plastic in my kit is also extremely brittle. This is my first Fujimi kit and the only one I have in my stash. I don't plan on there being a second. Lol

Regarding your comments on fujimi kits, I am really surprised. I built F138 (here : Ferrari F138 China GP | Album by stephjay (1:20)), and F40 LM (Fujimi F40 LM | Album by stephjay (1:16)) and I found them very close to Tamiya quality.

Beautiful work on both of those Stéphane! Personal struggles for me. I think the end result of my 126 was similar to Tamiya F1 kits but it was certainly not as smooth getting there. It does look the part though. Quite possibly my own shortcomings rather than kit quality but it was not my favorite thing. They do have a few more F1 kits and interesting vehicles in general so it is always possible I'll build another down the road.

chassis done, sunglasses installed. pretty decent wheels in this kit, a little panel line adds patina. re the body's basecoat; I might have finally learned to airbrush.

Never been the airbrush type. I live solely in my childhood. 😂 Great work on this! Those sunglasses are a fun addition.

I don't know but I like it. It's a nice touch. I may be biased though since I have fuzzy dice in my Impala SS. 😂😂
