Thanks for the comment guys. At £80, it's the most expensive kit I've ever brought together with another £70 in paint and extras. My only problem now is that I'm really struggling to figure out how to paint the outside. Normally I would pre-paint the parts and then assemble but I think this one might have to be assemble and then paint with LOTS masking tape!! I really don't want to screw it up given the money I've spent. Starting to think I might have stretched myself a little too far this time.

With the size of the kit, I suppose there's no way to avoid lots of masking.

But why using masking tape? Regular 80g paper is strong enough to protect the paint underneath..

My way:
Assemble the fuselage and the wings.
Paint the green, then the brown and finally the black
And finally assemble the wings and the fuselage
