Mig-21 SM '303 CAD' - A learning process

I bought the kit from ebay for 3€ with the aim of using it as a learning exercise before getting stuck into my expensive 1/48 Eduard/Academy F-16.

I then bought a load of aftermarket brass and resin, which took the total cost up higher than the "expensive" F-16 kit cost me.

Then I ruined it 🙁

The cockpit went ok, and the installation of the etched brass parts went ...ok, but then I ended ruining the camoflage on top with the airbrush.

Rather than continue torturing myself, I'm going to give up and try again on another MIG-21 kit at some point in the near future, using the leftover parts from this experience, and possibly also salvaging the tub.

I guess I should be glad I didn't ruin the F-16.
