Returning to modeling after about 15 years away. I've started to accumulate quite the "stash" of kits. Always seeing something new, or something I built several years ago that I want to build again. I'm learning a lot of new techniques and seeing that some of the things I did several years ago are still being done today. It seems that its a lot easier now, with the internet and everything at the touch of our fingers to connect with others, near and far, who enjoy this hobby.

I typically build 1/48 and some 1/72 aircraft. I've built my first civil airliner recently and found that it can be just as rewarding as well as challenging. I have only built one armor piece in my lifetime, definitely wasn't my favorite subject, but its like everything else in life; I always try something more than once before making a decision.

I have also started getting my 8-year old son interested in building models. I started with a snap-together P-51 in 1/72 scale that was pre-painted. Now he is working on a 1/48 Huey Hog from Monogram, not a very accurate kit, but something that he thinks looks neat.
