My cousin got me started with model planes many years ago in the 1960's, then we moved on to tanks. At 18 I moved out and moved to Sydney for work (1979), and it wasn't until my marriage finished in 2002 that I began to get back into models.

Since 2002 I have moved into the air brush world, and have been using that updating some that I still had from the 1970's. I've also completed my first wooden ship the 'Jolie Brise', and am about to start my first ship in a bottle. In the mean time I am part way through a 1:350 Revel model of the Tirpitz, and Alitalia 1:9 model Kettenkrad, and a 1:48 Glencoe model Spad biplane.

I'm enjoying all the new products and paints, which makes modeling so much more exciting, and good results so much more achievable.
