MQ-8C Fire-X

Beautiful little resin kit. Consists of a massive resin fuselage, tail and nicely detailed rotor blades, tail rotor and landing gear skids, 3D printed rotorhead, and some PE. The landing gear consists of a piece of copper wire and a mould to bend the landing gear struts (although labor intensive, this works!). I just finished it as a civil Bell 407, by painting the windows gloss black. The fuselage has the exact right amount of surface detail tot do this.
Looking at it from some distance (😉) I at last have a 407- model!!

Too bad, Attack Squadron no longer exists, and it looks like Hauler/ Brengun Models no longer have this kit in their catalogue...

This item is a double. I added it a long time back when it first came out. It's listed under the Bell 206 JetRanger (the base model it's based on) the JetRanger/LongRanger series. maybe it can be moved to a seperate entry under MQ-8C Fire-X ? because it's not related to the Fire Scout!
