primed in grey , and pre shading with AK #182 olive drab (for shadows) ..I haven't decide to use AK real colors 096 /095 or MR Color for the Base IDF color or to use Mig- 132 (real IDF sand grey '73 )... I'm attempting to follow the example built by Lucas Zaromitidis (in Mig's IDF painting & weathering guide #6128) . But open to opinion's and suggestion ?

I was thinking that you were going it's a US scheme, as this tank has the US ERA tiles. If you go with a US scheme, Desert Storm Sand, NATO tri color, or one of the MERDC schemes are all contenders.

Here is a link to lots of good photos of M60A1s with ERA

@ Carlos C thank you 👍 for the info above knew you were the correct one to ask , I haven't painted it ,other than a light prime in grey ..

You might want to remove the smoke grenade storage boxes off the sides of the air cleaners. Those would not be installed if no smoke grenade launchers are mounted.

@Carlos thank you ..I planned to, see pic #8 or #9 I have removed them

@ Simon N , just a little more to do on the base / tank yet and then I will put the frame around it , the stowage still has not arrived either ..I've had difficultly finding 1/35 scale razor (coil)wire in stock so I'm making my own ,if it turns out satisfactory it will be on the M60 as well 🙂

@ Dean , thank you it's almost complete ..a few more little details

Hey ...out there , would anyone Know ? and choose to share ..What was the color of the IDF 5 gal water cans ,were they the metal type or plastic ,during the early 1970's (1973 Yom Kippur war)... any info would be greatly appreciated
21 September 2022, 00:45

I want to say that the plastic cans were black at that time. Metal cans could be Sand Gray or OD.

@ Carlos C .. I thought so thank you , I had already painted those colors ..but didn't want to post any pic's till I was sure . I knew you would be the only one to answer 👍
