How accurate is the kit compared to the real plane?

The main colours have not been applied at this moment. Only on the edges, that are masked. It's currently has a pre-shading: ALCLAD Chrome + Tamiya Smoke over a coat of Surfacer 1200 Gray.

Yes, the shadows are with smoke tint. After painting the light gray, I think that it wil be needed a new light chrome coat …

I have finally mixed the 2 main grain colours with chrome and the results are the some zones are shinny like a metal and the effect is the the paint-job looks different depending on the angle and light source …

Hah, I know the photographing thing… I think the real plane looks like between pic 21-24, Anyways I will have to try myself later down the road. Still looking forward to final reveal.😁👍

I have finally finished the decals, and I am going to a clear coat in order to seal them. I have lost some shadows due to new metal grey coat that I did, and I am not sure if I will do some post-shadding prior to panel-lines wash ... Thanks for your appreciation and nice comments.
