And there it is! I'd be embarrassed to say how long this took, and it's packed full of mistakes and semi-mended disaster...

Ben MI built that kit too, and it's tricky to get all the struts and such for the upper wing

Simon O'Gorman AuthorYeah, that was really tricky for me too, Ben. Huge learning curve! What I should have done was glue the outer struts to the bottom and dry-fitted the top until it was set - then glued the centre struts into the top wing, and put the two together. Getting this wrong can ruin the build.

NickAGood outcome, this was the first biplane I had made for decades and it ended up looking like one too! I then built Airfix's 1/48 offering which goes together even better. I just need the courage to attempt some rigging.

Michael SchubertLove it! I just got the top wing set on mine and promptly dropped it and it fell into 3 pieces 🤦🏻♂️ turned out ok, but a close look shows its flaws haha, the colour scheme you chose is cool and it turned out great 👍
