Thats fabulous! Congratulations on that very realistic portrayal. I did two cruises with Tomcats and that is not an unrealistic weathering portrayal. I've never seen "the shooter" in anything but khaki trousers however.

Agree with everyone - beautiful cat. As for the deck crew, I don't think there's any "standard" trouser color. Some have khaki, some have camo from the internet pics I have seen.

Many of the deck crew would have camo trousers. The Catapult Officer, however, (shooter) …is an officer. And they wear khaki on the ship with their flight deck gear. In four cruises on the Ranger and Nimitz, I've never seen a shooter wear anything but khaki. It helps separate them from the enlisted flight deck crew.

Stéphane, one last question - is the wing sweep marks the decal that came with the kit or are those painted on? I've seen some videos with guys saying they were going to make their own swing stripes. I think yours are the decals and they look good to me. Just wondering as I plan my build.
