Exactly what I think. If I want to create a museum like model I try to replicate every detail as accurate as possible. And I mean every detail. So a wrong fairing would be a no go for me especially if I know about this error and I do not correct it or even deliberately build it wrong.
But it is his choice. It is his model. And when he want to build a second wing above to create a 109 biplane it is his choice and we have to accept it. But we can shake our heads and we can wonder about that
