I have/had the same idea and upgraded 3 1991 DRAGON 1:35 "ModernAFV series" T-72 w/ERA; BMP-2E; SA-9 Gaskin; with new current decals, figures and upgrades to the Ukraine-Russia war (special operation hahahaha);).
I actually wanted to equip the T-72 with a homemade anti-drone cage.

@DuperScale - it's lead foil primed with gray Mr. Surfacer, and an Archer Dry Transfer. Archer has techniques for how to do the flags on their website and int the dry transfer instructions.
