Good morning,
A Stug Das Werk, taken from a Dragon mold, with a Saukopf Def Model, Panzer Art sprockets, Aber cannon, Eduard PE and Elefant Corporation resin parts. Resin workable tracks from Quicktracks.
The model is not yet complete. It will represent a tank from the 7th or 8th company of the 2nd armored battalion of the Hohenstaufen division in Normandy.
The vegetation intended for camouflage is in progress. The one placed on the Stug is only there to give me an idea of the result. It was made with sprigs of thyme to which I attached PE foliage.
The weathering is not yet finished, it is in progress.
See you soon.

Looking very good so far. Lovely camo painting and scratching. A bit of weathering and she'll be a beauty 🙂

Thank you for your feedback.

Thank you Villiers de Vos!
I have started weathering, but there is still a lot to do.
I continued making tree branches to camouflage the Stug. I simply placed the branches but this is not their final place. Furthermore, I still have to paint the leaves with varied shades of green and yellow as well as contrast the trunks.

Good morning.
I made my first tree with twigs, putty from AK Interactive products for the lichen and foliage, acrylic paints and artist oils for the trunk and branches. I'm going to integrate it into a diorama with the Stug III.

I made a new tree and bushes for the diorama.
I found 2 figures that I need to slightly modify to fit the Stug.
I am going to redo the vegetation intended for camouflage of the machine.
Good day.

Good evening.
Thank you for your complimentary comments.
For the trees, I was inspired by the method used by Night Schift in one of his videos. I have no merit.

Good morning,
Time has passed since my last post.
The vagaries of life, big problems, kept me away from the workshop.
I haven't forgotten the challenge of making my Stug, a walking bush in Normandy.
To be honest, I had a hard time. Having never made a scene, I torture my mind at each stage.
After many purchases and "home tests", I set my sights on an AK reference, which seemed quite realistic to me (I was especially tired of sticking leaves on branches one by one for a perfect result). .... meh!). I didn't want to cover the entire tank, and at the same time, I wanted to be a little realistic. To do this, I listened to the advice of a friend who served in armored units, regarding areas that should not be obscured by camouflage (driver's vision area, firing optics, engine ventilation). ..).
This is the result.
The blue part is just the basis of the scene that I am going to try to create.
I will have details to go over, particularly on the weathering and the figurines.
