Awesome 👍 how will you do the decals?

Good question. The serial numbers are on the Furball Mig Master decal sheet. The other decals will come from other decal sheets and will also be painted.
The conversion kit from CAT4 looks great and is a big help for these project. It´s better than die Cutting Edge conversion kit.

That's awesome. CAT4 also released a decal sheet for a VF-32 F-8D, maybe possible you could use that one. I'm cobbling together decals from the kit and Furball sheet on my RF-8 right now, I totally appreciate that creativity. I myself am super stoked about the CAT4 kit, gonna backdate so many Crusaders.

I also orderd the decal sheet from CAT4. The F-8D version on the sheet is great! Today I cut the wing top from the kit and made a test fitting with the new wing top from CAT4.The fitting is great. Much more better than the wing top from Cutting Edge. I also want to make a RF-8a from the USS Saratoga.
I´ll take some photos from the sets during the next days.

Can't wait to see. What do you think of the nose shape? I ordered their sheets too.

I think that the nose shape is correct. I just ordered the new Vought ejection seat from CAT4 for my Crusader. After my holydays I can start my build.

Before you get started, check out this correction which was released by the manufacturer:
CAT4 1:48 F-8 Crusader conversion - first look | Album by Rando (1:48)
I was given this through the eBay supplier and I also spoke to the maker directly
Bit concerning but hopefully the nose still fits together with a good shape
