This I do not know. German ones (which is the country sticker 'D') have a white base with black lettering and a zillion rules those numbers and letters have to obey.

Ah this brings back some memories when my family had one of these in the seventies.
The registration plates are UK - the 'E' at the end indicates 1967 issue. Silver on black was in use until 1973.

Yep, the sliding side door was introduced in the T2 model.
