Mina RoBeautiful, what decal set did you use. I wish they would update this kit with current decals for modern camoflage machines. seems they only offer the training or development paint schemes in the kit.

I used a decal set that remained from a Zvezda Mig-29 (9-13) as the numbers and inscriptions roughly matched. For the technical inscriptions I used the decals that came with the kit.
Actually this kit represents the Ka-52 prototype (black only) which has many differences compared to the production model. For example I had to move the Electro Optical targeting system from the top of the cockpit to the bottom of the nose. The nose of the Aligator is also longer nowadays and there are Electronic Warfare domes near the wheels.
The most accurate kit for this helicopter that I have seen myself is the Zvezva 1/48 model which I have in my stash. It's a big project, but definitely very well represented. There are ways to enhance further the 1/72 kit that I've built with the following conversion set:

Mina RoZvezda or Hobbyboss really need to invest in a 1/72 version of the current 52. They used to say the tandem seat was rare compared to the 50 single seat but I think Ukraine shows that the 2 seater is more used than the other.
