Thanks! ๐Ÿ˜€ It's the first WW1 aircraft I've made so was a bit hairy at times, but it seems to have come out reasonably okay ๐Ÿ˜…
Eduard say the engine is a "160HPMercedesD.III".

Wonderful when we get to step outside the drab of the later aircraft! Looks great!

Not bad, but I must admit I do not like the violet, which is much to "strong" and has nothing to do with the original shade.
Yes, that is a problem with paints for models - more than 50 shades of gray but many other color shades are not available.
Luckily I have wonderful "German purpur" and "Mauve" shades from "Drooling Bulldog" in my stash (really pity this brand seems to be out of business now; the website is still there).
AK offers also a WWI set with mauve and lilac (I don't know it personally as I do not work with water acrylics): ak-interactive.com/p..n-aircraft-colors-2/

Here are examples of my interpretations.
Mauve on Junker D.I: Junkers D.I 5185/18, Hombeek, MFJG, November 1918 | Album by bughunter (1:48)
On my Fokker E.V I used oil paints: Fokker E.V | Album by bughunter (1:48)

Thanks for the perspective bughunter. I'm new to WW1 planes so simply followed the paint scheme in the instructions (Mr Color C67 'purple'). I don't use aqueous acrylics either but it's good to know there are better colour sets out there. Your models look great!

I like the colour, also purple is one of the worst colours for fading in time so good job it's vivid.
It's a good all over job ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Ah, that explains it. Eduard calls for the closest match form the Gunze range, but as I mentioned above the range is limited.
Other manufacturers like Revel would start then the famous mixings in the manual.

I want to mention another possibility: the Wingnut Wing web page is still active. In the manuals (you can look also for other German types) there are also mixing guides based on Tamiya and Humbrol paints, e.g. see color q in this page from the Rumpler C.IV manual:
