The deep and wide lines of the panel joints are simply terrible, especially for such a small model. I am no longer considering the possibility of self-assembly of the Airfix model.

It's just the light shade at min Denis, lve built this one and they turned out nice in the end, Airfix have a great Spitfire dimensionally.
Some of the other brands the wings look bit fat , tail doesn't thin out quite right.
Check out some end result in kits.

Perhaps everything is very good with the Airfix model geometry, but these lines spoil the whole impression of the model.
