I bet the plastic of a Mini Art kit would make you scream too ,good luck with your project 👍

Yes I know what you mean, although I do like the MiniArt kits, very nice fit and good detail, but yes the plastic needs some special attention, when I start a new MiniArt I need to get used at the soft plastic.

It's well known that the plastics from MiniArt models are very soft.
There a few things I do when I work with those models.
1- Be 2x more careful cutting the parts especially the small parts, make sure you use a new blade.
2- Those thin beams are much easier to fit or glue when you make a copy from copper wire.
3- If you have to cut fragile parts give them a brush with Tamiya fast cement.

You have US Vietnam figures from mlbmaquettes.com
There's weapons ( M16A1, M60, M79, M14...) gears webbings on the site

Hi Marc, thanks for the tip but I live in Thailand and these sets can't be find here. I use the US infantry set from Tamiya now and modify the soldiers.

I know you can't find them in any shop in Thailand... I'm a tiny productor. I don't have retailers
Contact me direct, we will see how to help you.

Hi Marc, Next time, I already have my soldiers made from a kit, heavily modified.
