This version, which is also the Italeri version (I think), has a lot of interior detail for the fighting compartment. One of the little extras is a nicely rendered Breda 30 light machine gun that is stowed inside (see picture). Does anyone know what the Tamiya version gives you for interior details?

the Tamiya kit gives you basically the same thing except the transmission is cut off at the front and its light on the details

It does sound similar. Thanks William!😉

Here's how the interior turned out OOtB with the old Tamiya version. Don't mind the poorly painted figure as it's one of my early failed atempts. mccoy.blogg.se/2012/..ovente-m40-7518.html

Looks great George. Italian armour is an often overlooked topic. The interior is very nice and look forward to the other added details you have on the kit list.

Thanks Urban. Beautiful job! 👍. Believe it or not, I found your interior picture doing a google search and used it - among others - to help determine what the interior should look like! Small world 🙂

Thanks Alan. Don't know how much of the photo-etch I'll use since it's for the Tamiya kit. Hoping some of it is compatible, and this Zvezda kit seems pretty detailed (compared to prototypical photos I've gleaned off the internet). 🙂

Been working on the interior. Lots of new photos up, and I found a great web site of prototype Semovente photos (icsm.it/world/reportage/semovente75.html). I'll post it as a walk-around.

Fantastic, George. Enjoyed the photo walkaround as well and impressed by how much the model matches the real thing!

Thanks so much Alan. 🙂. I am taking many liberties based on what's in my spare parts box and to make thing easy on myself. Wish I had found the website sooner

Nice final result George. Salt chipping worked out very well. Looks great.

Thanks Alan! It came out about as I expected (which is unusual) but may be a little "over-chipped". If you haven't seen them, more photos at Italian M40-75/18 Semovente | Album by Gbmodeler (1:35)
