I have been looking at these Trumpeter half-tracks and they seem to be pretty good kits. The only thing that worries me is the front sprocket, which is too small on a number of their earlier half-track kits. I'll be watching with interest to see how that plays out 🙂

It is the main defect of this kit but the modification would be too complex and would require the replacement of the sprocket wheel and track ; thus I shall leave it as it is, too bad for the accuracy, but just the once will not hurt.

Yes indeed. Getting a set of Friul tracks with sprocket, just for the sprockets basically, wouldn't be worth it (in my opinion). So I fully agree 👍

B.t.w., I am not a "nut counter" and only take accuracy up to a certain level. I'm pretty much a "if it looks good enough, it IS good enough" type of modeler 😄 which is also why I will be following your progress with this kit because I think it will still look very good when done 🙂 aside from the fact that I just LOVE German half-tracks 😄
