Thanks guys. Regarding the red cowling stripe I am not 100% sure it's right myself. I found colour profiles both with and without the red. I also found film footage of French p-47s operating from Corsica with the red cowling markings. But I don't know for sure if this aircraft definetly had these markings. Cheers Allan
