Starting from SCRATCH. Stole a few of the wife's brushes (she paints pictures), and picked up some primer from Michael's.

All assembled and most of the flash and such cleaned up. Still some holes to fill.

Ordered an upgrade metal gun to replace the IMO really bad stock one.

Figures all assembled. Removed as much of the flash and injection marks as I had the patience for. Will go over them all again once everything is dried and set up.

Dusty from sanding, and needs putty to fill in large gaps.

Some seam lines still require sanding.

Injection mark were a particular pain with the texture of the socks. Will go over with a sharp knife and sanding stick to try to clean up further before I prime.

Tempted to use a heat gun and bend the digits around the gun a little better. Suggestions?

My first model! It's an ancient kit at a very low price point, so if I muck it up (which is likely, since I'm a newbie) I won't cry too much. It's going well so far, though! She needs some putty and more sanding before I spray on the primer.
