This kit requires some patents its not as easy to put together as modern Tamiya. Main issue for me was a few raised panel lines that were sanded out when i joined the seams I attempt to put raised lines in with 0.5 copper wire super glued where i had sanded. This gave an acceptable look for me anyway, especially when weathered.

The rest of kit went together well. the wings are not glued to air frame and are still removable this makes work and painting easier as it is a big kit.

Would i build another ? Yes I would if i had somewhere to put it !

I'm guilty of build first and worry about where to display them afterwards , my stash of 1/32 kits has increased by 8 over the past few months
1/48 is the smallest I build but as old as the Lancaster from Tamiya is its well worth finding somewhere to put it once it's built.

Good idea I snapped them at the bench or on the floor but outside photos in natural light should make good photos
