The photo etch took a long time and a lot of patience and to be honest Questioned if worth the effort as I felt most the detail is so small it's lost once painted; compare the OOB one built and see how noticeable the difference is. It's really down to your preference.
I would recommend the Accurate Armour 120mm gun and tracks though.

Her the completed chieftain tank a 1975 old Tamiya kit that was updated with Eduard photo etch parts and replacement 120mm gun and tracks by Accurate Armour.
The base is scratched built with syrofoam for ground contours and earth by AK terrain
