„Not completely satisfied with the engine……" I had to look twice to distinguish it from a real one ( pic 17). Outstanding !

Hanno, it's several years ago that I painted the engine en just yesterday I posted the pictures. With my knowledge of today (oil paint rendering), and the pictures from other builders, I would have taken more time and effort in painting the engine.
But thank you all for the compliments 🙂

Nice additions, Lex. I recently added a book I bought about the Scammell (I will be towing a Valentine I think), what do you use as reference?

Hi Steven,
I used mainly the Internet.
There are of course the walk-arounds and also the sites with restorations give a lot of information and details.
On Youtube you can take a look at the link below what tells you how the winch system works and give you even more details. There are 3 more in this serie about this subject.

Just my kind of superdetailling. Count me in. Can you disclose which colors you used for the Mickey Mouse camouflage?

Michael; for the black I used Tamiya XF-69 Nato Black.
The green is a mixture of 75% Tamiya XF-13 J.A.Green and 25% Tamiya XF-51 Khaki Drab.

Lex, I was planning to do the same with the oil filter, but I wanted to reduce the diameter because the kit part seems off with the pictures I compare with. Great work, I don't know if I can approach this level...

I like how this progresses. A late thanks by the way for your answer to my camoflague question. 😉

Michael, my pleasure.
Steven, looking at your albums you make great models. for me you are definitely able to make something beautiful out of it 🙂.
About the oil filter; As an example I used one of the photos from the link below. I personally think that the oil filter of the model has the right dimensions.

But there are different types of oil filter used.

Album info
The intention is to depict a scene somewhere in the East Midlands (have to decide a bit more precise where exactly) where a Scammell is salvage a Matilda tank with bad luck.
