It was typical older Zvezda okay quality tooling, but it was still a pretty decent build. I appreciated the cockpit details that they decided to include, and the variety of suspended armament. The rockets, bombs, and landing gear were a pain to attach to the model though. As usual for my older builds, this one wasn't primed. I'm considering possibly stripping the paint and repainting it. However, it would be a shame to strip the inside of the cockpit. I might just fill the gaps and touch up the paint to make it look better. I enjoyed the kit though. I would definitely like to try Zvezda's Pe-8 kit, but unfortunately, it would likely be hard to find nowadays. Please suggest other Pe-8 kits in any scale 1:72 and under if you know any!
