Ive been building models since I was 9, back then it was all 1/72 nd scale, in 2001 I went to my local hobby shop and told the lady I was looking for something new, I always loved ships but you can't get an aircraft carrier in 1/72nd scale so she suggested the USS New Jersey in1/350 scale the largest ship scale at the time and well I was hooked I've been building anything in 1/350 scale I can find!

Just a quick update, I'm looking on eBay currently and if you do a search for VM 1/350 scale model ships a couple of ships come up especially the Chinese training ship, prices and shipping are pretty cheap, don't expect a lot of detail in the kit.

Hi, thank you, I should probably update the pics there have been additions, as for the jets in the drawer, that's all just stuff that belongs on different carriers, a lot of the airings need to be finished.

The next one I'm thinking of finishing is the Russian aircraft carrier, I've had it about as long as the Nimitz, I'd did suffer some damage when we did the initial move from CT to Arizona, but those parts where replaced, her air wing is mostly completed I just made some changes to the helicopters and added the Russian proposed ( never completed) version of the E-2C Hawkeye.
