I built this model of the Ferrari 312 with John Surtees next to his car in 1998. Then I went to see a historic race at Zolder, where I met John in person. I had my model with me and showed it to him. He was delighted, and when I asked him to put on autograph on the model he invited me to his VIP-area to watch the upcoming race with him and have a drink or two. After the race he signed my model, making it an unforgettable day for me...
