Just found this site, looks an amazing source of info which I really need 🙂
Ok, so a little background...I used to model as a boy but could never understand why they didnt end up looking like they did on the box 😮😭
Come forward 30 years and my wife brought me the airfix BoB memorial flight set and I thought why not indeed...brought some paints etc and off I went...bug bit = hooked...and now, 3 years and 40-50 models later here I am trying to learn something every build or trying something new...I like to research but never really find good, easy to follow detailed explainations on 'How to'...in that search I found this site...had a browse and saw some jaw-droppingly good builds and finishes and thought 'here's a place I could learn a lot from' 😮)
As you can see from my pics I have plateaued and could really use some tips on how to get better finishes...for example how do I make the fuselage on the Albatros look like wood?
