Austin "Katy" K2Y, as, I believe, my grandfather worked on/with in WW2 in the RAMC (he never spoke of it so I don't know if he drove, was an orderly, or what!). They were never used by the RAF on home soil (apparently) - there was a combination of ambulances by Fordson (WOT1) and Albion (heavy duty) and Morris and Standard for more lightweight/domestic duties. Katies were widely used across Europe after D-Day.

(Having first sweated then enjoyed the Refuelling set recently, I am clearly a glutton for punishment...)
