Ha, well I'm adding this only on request cause its a bit embarrassing overall. It was my 2nd kit to build. My first tank (1st model was a ship). My first foray into weathering. My first attempt at a diorama (actually i'm ok with the diorama). So bear that in mind 😉
Bought the kit when I was in Japan (I think, in Osaka I found it). Since this waffentrager model is mostly in the realm of 'what-if' I decided it wouldn't hurt to put it in a fictional North African campaign setting instead of the eastern front it would have certainly been used on (had it been produced at all). So this was me thinking i'll put it in North Africa in '45 / '46 - long after the real african campaign was over for Germany. Since this was much later, I figured they might have come up with some new camo schemes, so I just made one up. For the final touch I added some ground up scenic rocks to the tank itself, thinking myself oh so clever. Later of course I realised that with that dust there, I couldn't repaint the damned thing if I wanted to, so this way it will stay.
I'll put it down to a learning experience hahaha.
