Finished! Tamiya 1/35 Tiger II production turret, built as Tiger II of Kuromorimine school from the popular anime series "Girls und Panzer"

This kit was the first tank I painted with my airbrush, and after initial problems with trying to use enamel paint, I managed to get some Vallejo air, which worked perfectly! It was a very simple paint scheme really, which helped for the first time airbrush painting a tank.

The kit itself was mostly the usual Tamiya quality, with a couple of exceptions being the fit between the upper and lower hull, which was not perfect but was workable, and more obviously (as you can see in the pictures) the track guards, which don't fit very well to the sides of the tank, although this may simply be that the parts have warped over time.

All in all, once the problems were solved this was a fairly comfortable build. 🙂
