Nicknamed Donald Duck because of his nose, this was one of the three successive Spitfire's that Zumbach had as Squadron Leader, all RF-D in the same livery, although 'Donald' was apparently slightly different on each. This one EN951 is the subject of the Revell kit. The others were BM144 and EP594. Flying the Mark V Spitfire (not sure which no. BM144?) he downed an FW-190 and shared a He-111 and a probable FW-190 on 19 July 1942. The last of his confirmed victories.
