6 RNAS Seafires, navy versions of the Spitfire Mk.V, were assigned to Dunkeswell in September 1944 to provide fighter affiliation training to B-24 Liberator crews.

Built as a Commission for the Dunkeswell Airfield Heritage Centre. South West Airfields Trust
