I may consider there other 2 1/35 planes in the future, have you heard good things as well about those?

Yes. The Stuka kit is very nice. I also have the FE190 but haven't built it yet. I have been impressed with most of Border kits

The largest scale I have built is 1/32. My eyes have been giving me a hard time too and is the main cause of me not working on anything for some time now.
