Hobby Boss McDonnell Douglas F/A-18D

I had a little problem on the part where the nose is fitted to the main fuselage. There is a 1mm gap below the windshield. Nothing that a piece of plastic card can't fix though. Did you experience the same in your Hobby Boss F/A-18C build?
