Perhaps one of the most famous MiG-15s from the Korean War … but who flew it?
It is suggested it was flown by Won-Hatt, of the Chinese Fighter Wing, Manchuria.
However, this photo of Wang Hai from Wikipedia looks more likely.
*249 & 9 stars could be aircraft 2249 and a far cry from aircraft 079 in all the museums.

Having built a couple of North American F-56 Sabres, I thought it only right to add a MiG-15 for the collection! I've selected Trumpeter's 1:48 MiG-15 bis Fagot-B which was newly tooled in 2000. This comes with decals for Registration Red 2249.
