A very old set, probably even older than you.
I have assembled three Hurricanes from different manufacturers.
I held this set in my hands and realized that I would not assemble it.
It doesn't make sense to fix anything in the cockpit.
No one will see it, and all the darkest places are outside, in plain sight and they are difficult to fix.

I agree with not going overboard, but the seat position would have caused the fuselage not to have closed properly. And I actually like this little kit, built another one like it, the Sea Hurricane MKIIC. These kits are not too difficult putting together, although when opening the canopy as I will, some sanding of the fuselage will be required. Stay tuned!

I like these simple Revell kits from the 1990s, just built the P-51C from this series and also the Jug few years back. For me they seem a reasonable balance between detailing and easy assembly, similarily to the Hobbyboss ones. Following 👍
