Gloster Gladiator Mk.1 Norway 1940

 

Fairly quick progress in one evening. It’s a nice kit to put together, fits well and needed a minimum amount of filler. 

Tail rigging done. I used Green Stuff World ABS Rod 0.5mm painted Gun Metal 

I really struggled with the cowling on this and despite my best efforts could only close the gap with some filler. I don’t understand why Airfix didn’t make this a one piece mold instead of four parts.l 

A reminder of why I usually dislike biplanes. Started the laborious rigging task, one half almost completed 

 

 

 

 

I definitely won’t be attempting anymore biplanes for a while.
I’m still not happy with the cowling, its too far forward
