Usually first steps,
Checking for parts, amazing to find everything still sealed in the bags.
Then wash and air dry.
And last like to prime while on the sprue.
Ready to start in March. 😀

Made a start to the Falcon. I'm not sure how much will show, but just in case, I gave it an interor colour of off white. Well, to be truthfully honest, it's leftover paint.
From the Space 1999 Eagle and Hawks I did. Waste not want not. 😀

Managed to find an hour for a spray day.
First top coats for top of Falcon and the inserts for the underside and last the rear landing gear. Ready for hand paint, weathering. 😀

Had a play with the front landing gear.
I have not made my mind up yet, gear up or down.
But fairly happy with the pencil weathering. 😀

Had a bit of a play on the underside. Choose 4 colours, 3 greys and a brick red. Happy with 3 of them. May have to do a mixed to get a blue/grey. 😀

Found sometime for more hand painting, I also added a 5th colour to the panels. Progress but slow progress. 😀

That's the main panels underneath done, should become better when i get to the weathering stage.

Album info

Reliving my childhood, built this when it first came out.
I know there are more accurate versions now, but this is for my great grandson Christmas present and for the memories.
